Dana Diplomats
Dana Diplomats
The Dana Diplomats is our own student based leadership team that was established in 2012. We created the Dana Diplomats as a way for our students to be active participants and positive leaders in their school and community. These students set examples for others to follow by leading the school in a positive direction. They also have responsibilities such as, but not limited to, helping with Red Ribbon Week, Food Drive, Pennies for Patients, cleaning the campus, watering the garden, taking spirit count, making announcements over the intercom, leading the school with the Pledge of Allegiance, reading quotes to their classmates from “Words of Wisdom”, etc. We have a very strong group of students this year and are excited to work together to make this a successful school year!
Application Process
In order to apply for the Dana Diplomats students are required to fill out an application. During the first full week of school every 4th-6th grader interested in applying can pick up an application from the office and turn it in on or before that first Friday (2nd week of school). These applications are screened and students are chosen to move on to the interview. Students are chosen based off their scholarly attributes, ability to lead by example, and their overall character as a human being.
